‘Friends’. The Television show that entertained people throughout the world for 10 years. Started in 1994, ‘Friends’ has made such a place in viewers’ life, which cannot be disturbed at all. 10 years is a very long period, but each episode of ‘Friends’ is different from the older one, still being the best.

‘Friends’ is based on the lives of 6 friends with different backgrounds, namely Ross Geller (David Schwimmer), Rachel Green (Jennifer Aniston), Chandler Bing (Matthew Perry), Monica Geller (Courteney Cox), Joseph Tribbiani (Matt LeBlanc) and Phoebe Buffay (Lisa Kudrow). It focuses on their friendship, relationships among themselves, and mainly their love for each other. The characters are designed incredibly perfect. Their lives express the feelings of all the phases of a human being. Starting from season 1, in which they are young, new to the corporate world, dependable on their friends, to the season 10 where they are totally matured, ready to take the responsibility of life.

‘Friends’ is a comedy serial. The dialogues are written in a very different manner. The jokes make people laugh insanely. These jokes are such a marvelous piece of acting and reacting to it, due to which lot of drolleries take place. Each character is extremely different in nature. Monica is Cleaning Freak; she wants everything to be neat and perfect, organized, where Ross is completely different being a geek in science; a true lover of Dinosaurs. Phoebe and Joey are weird characters. They both are very innocent in nature and being extremely innocent makes a lot of fun in the show. Phoebe believes in god, spirits, and she has very weird likes and dislikes. Where Joey is a dumb guy, but not dumb to miss a beautiful woman. He likes women and sandwiches and jam. He cannot think of anything else once he is thinking of these things. Chandler has a good presence of mind. He’s especially good at sarcasm, which he makes a lot in the shows.

Joey and Chandler are best buds ever. Their friendship is so beautiful that it expresses the need as well as the pleasure of having a true friend. Chandler thinks of Joey all the time. He is always with Joey, in his best part and worst part of life too. In season 10 when Monica and Chandler plan for a new house, they think of Joey and they have a separate room for him.

Rachel and Ross are immensely in love with each other. But because of Rachel’s career and according to Ross, ‘They were on a Break’. They couldn’t resist each other and could not stand each other. Throughout the life of ‘Friends’, they have thought of each other, cared for each other and sacrificed for each other, but never expressed their love. In the final episode of season 10, they express their love to each other.

In such relationships, everybody is trying to make their own things come true and this makes the show funnier. Watching season 10, makes all the initial seasons new again, and with new excitement we start to watch ‘Friends’ from season 1. ‘Friends’ is a masterpiece which will never be created again, but will remain in hearts of people forever.
